Nine Years.....

Nine years ago, yesterday, I married one amazing man!
I had no clue then what I was getting.. he has only gotten better with time.

This June has brought us change/transitioning....
with baby Liam arriving soon and Andre getting a new job...
therefore we did not plan a lot in hopes that next year for the big TEN
we can get away for a couple of nights!

Yesterday during the day I received a text from a dear friend that wanted to make
sure Andre and I were getting a little time to ourselves for the evening and I told her
we had made no plans... prob just hanging out as a fam. She then proceeded with one of the
nicest gestures I have received in a long time.... she offered to watch the kiddos so that we could at least go out to eat!!!!!! Well... who could pass that up! So we took up the offer, dropped the kids off, and enjoyed a nice meal together!

Thank you sweet sweet Miriam!!!

My handsome man and I .....
(oh, and our little man Liam... hee hee)

And this my friends is the lady(and her sweet husband) who loved on
our kids while we fed our faces... She is 36 weeks... so Noah and Liam
are going to be buddies!!!!

Happy Nine Babe!!!!

SWEET CORN...

Our first taste of sweet corn for the year!!!!

Tuesday before nap the kiddos helped me shuck it for the first time.
(I think they each did two ears but hey they saw what its all about!)

I think I was more excited then the kids bc last summer I was
doing the south beach and this was one luxury I had to do without...
it just about did me in!!!

So we made a dozen and devoured it between the four of us!!!

Hoping little Liam enjoyed it as much as I did...

happy daddys day....

For Father's day (and Mothe'rs day) this year we went low key...
We enjoyed our day together as a family...
Played with the kids....
And caught up on rest.....

We did manage to make daddy his favorite...
Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!!!

Daddy's day licks from his favorites!!!!

Sunday evening we were invited to a Daddy's day feast...
Made by my dad...
Or as the kids know him... Nanno!

We also managed to make him one of his favorites!
Love you Nanno...

There was one dad left out of this post
and that is Marv (andre's dad)!
We love our pappy too!
We did miss out on seeing him on
Daddy's day but that does not mean
we love him any less....

Joyful Hearts....

We had an amazing two days....
Filled with lots of love... catchin up.... laughs.... and memories made!

We were blessed to spend time with the Ercoli's and the Swartzentruber's.
Andre, Josh, and Garret have been buddies since grade school church camp and have managed to keep in touch throughout the years. It had been two years since we had our night away so it was due time...

Ella and Kenti lovin on each other in what they called the hot pool!

Jeremiah, Ella, and Gabe

Buddies in bed... you might think we arranged them like
this but they actually did it all on their own.
We were waiting patiently on our other buddies to arrive!
(Jack and Noah)

The next morning Gabe enjoyed some jump time!

After breakfast we enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub while it rained outside!

Daddy gettin some love from Ella...

After swimming, while everyone was getting ready, the kids
were playing and this is how I found Ella's peoples
(yes peoples, this is what she calls them).
She was making sure they all had a snack of carmel popcorn!
Such a sweet little momma!

What do you know.. thank you Jesus!!....
After getting ready we noticed a break in the rain so we decided to go to a park
and do bubbles and sparklers! (provided by the ercoli's..thanks guys)
It was a perfect day for bubbles bc the wind was blowing just right that all
the kids had to do was hold out their bubble sticks and it made bubbles like crazy.

All six of the kiddos ready to go...
Kenti, Ella, Noah, Jeremiah, Gabe, Jack

While we were loading up and checking out... the kids had a BLAST!
these pics are a bit blurry (someone changed the setting on the camera) but
I thought they were too cute not to share!

These two were big buddies! Maybe a little too sweet on
each other..... Daddy was not to sure of it but Jack's mommy
and Ella's mommy thought it would be really fun to be in-laws together!
We are all for it!!! hee hee

At the park...

The whole crew... six adults and six kids!
What a crew!

The three who started all of the craziness....

The kiddos again....

The three boys with their oldest boys...
All of the mommas were pregnant with these three at the same time.

My brave little girl...
She watched Kendi dive off of Josh's shoulders all weekend
and she finally decided that she wanted to try...
She did it...
Kenti and Ella's brothers have yet to try it!!!
You go girls!!!!

After the park we headed to a bouncy house.
And oh my.. the kids were in heaven!
Gabe was dripping with sweat until we left...

All of the kids were so worn out we were hoping they could
all make it through supper!
They did make it, but required lots of entertainment!

These three sat in the kitchen and watched the chefs
go to town... They were loving it!

All in all it was a huge success...
The Lord truly blessed our time together.
