game time....

The kiddos have really enjoyed playing games lately.
(which will be a wonderful inside activity for our upcoming event - Mr. Liam)

With Ella we do things as easy as possible...
Like in Shoots and Ladders we do not to the shoots yet....
And man oh man when she completes the game the look on her face is
worth every minute....

Check out this concentration!!!!

Spinning the spinner......

And the "look everyone, I won"... I beat mommy!
There was a sweet little giggle that went with beating momma too!
Little stinker...
Love you little sis and Love playing games with you.

Gabes choice was Go Fish!
He is a man that follows all rules...
And he to loves to win!!!!!!

Working hard on beating momma...
(I love when he gets his summer haircuts.. short and cute and all, but
he looks so OLD... eek! I do not like it!)

girls night...

Friday night we had a girls night....
Pizza, Games, Chatting, and Pajamas....
A wonderful evening with some besties!

My timer was set and it was going off before I was ready
so these silly girls "posed" for the timer!
(sorry girls... thats what you get for being silly in front of my camera!)

Me, Brandi, Steph, Lauren, Angie, and Bethany....

The game we played was called compatibility....
It was lots of fun and I would recommend it if you are looking for a new game to purchase.

And last but not least.....
My amazing dessert treats!!!!!!
(they were a flop)

So here is the story........................
I spent nap time making these amazing creations "Banana Split Bites"
The whole time I was getting a little more stressed bc they were not turning out.
So I got creative and made them my own way.
Well... my amazing cousin picked me up in this amazing vehicle (an old dump truck with no
air) and so off we went. Five minutes later this is how they looked! We laughed the whole way to Stephs house about our wonderful dessert we would embark upon! I will say they still tasted good but just not picture worthy. If you would like to see what they were supposed to look like check this out- www.bakersroyale.com/ice-cream-and-frozen-desserts/banana-split-mini-bites/

Randomness.....

Gabe and Ella's room.......................................

We had it painted and the beds ready...
I was just looking or a way to display pics and get a few throw pillows....
The pillows are still being hunted down (I want to have them add a bit of color)....
But the pictures are up!!!!!!
I am in love with them......
And thanks to my cousin Steph for helping me figure out how to hang some picts!
And another thanks to Miss Leah for the great picts she took....

A day at home....................................................................

We have been running around, soaking up summer as much as we can
bc we know when our little man Liam gets here we will have to slow down for a while...
This week, Thursday, was the only day that the calendar didn't have anything planned so
we stayed home and completely enjoyed ourselves..
The kiddos had forgotten what our toys looked like so they had a blast playing!
Ella helped her "peoples" have the perfect picnic...
The peoples even had a blanket to sit on...
Gabe lined up all of his students "stuffed animals" and read to them....
I love to see them be creative!

Liam's Countdown...........................................................

We made a string of rings to countdown with, until Mr.Liam gets to meet us...
It has been fun to watch Gabe and Ella pull the rings off each morning and then talk
about how close it is getting...
Ella helped me lots getting our little display board ready...
While Gabe helped me lots with cutting the paper for the rings...
Ella also wanted to pose by the display in many different ways (she is loving the camera lately)
and she added her own little picture on the chalkboard!

French Lick Winery..................................................................

Last Friday evening my parents treated us kids to pizza at the Winery...
We enjoyed the family fellowship lots...
It has been a while...
After eating, Josh was not feeling very well so he, Taryn, and Tyler headed home
and the rest of us decided to walk around and enjoy the dome and etc.
The kids had a blast running around in the dome, taking a walk in the garden, and spending time relaxing....
Some how I missed dinner pics but here are some pics of us enjoying our after
dinner activities!!!

overnight get-a-way

Andre and I were blessed with an overnight stay in Evansville.
So off we went last Saturday evening...
We completely enjoyed every moment together....
It was a nice little break before our little man arrives....
but like always we were ready to get back to our sweeties at home!

Silly us... the timer was set to take five consecutive pics
and so this is what we did!!!!

And the normal one!!!!!

The cute couple + one!

These were our snacks for the evening...
(yes andre gets heartburn too!)

Ready to start Sunday with our new kicks!!!!

We found a note on the nightstand when we arrived so Andre
felt the need to leave a note when we left....
That is what I love about my hubbs!!!

We really enjoyed our time together...
Long chats about life...
as we know it/how its going to change....
We are so blessed....
Thank you Lord for richly blessing our family.....

pure bliss....

We have not tried family pics in a while....
so I was a bit nervous as to how things would go
but it was heaven!

The kids are a bit older now and love taking pics....
maybe bc they have no choice with me being around.

We met up with an amazing fellow photographer.....
Leah Robinson Photography, and she did such a wonderful job.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did...
I can not stop looking at them...
My heart is so happy!!!

Next fam pics you see will be of all FIVE of us!
So excited to welcome our new little man in exactly two weeks.
